The BRO was awarded a grant of $10,000 from the Herbert & Adrian Woods Foundation, St. Louis, MO. Funds will be used to purchase culturally sensitive toys for our clients and update our volunteer work area and storage areas. ( 2008 and 2009)

First Book made a generous donation of over 4,000 new books. All we had to do was pick them up from a local warehouse. |

In 2008 and 2009 we received a $500 grant from Ameren UE and our voluteers worked at Tilles Park Winter Wonderland, we were awared $500 for our work.

In 2009 we will distributed toys to over 4,000 childen. We served 25 area Social Service Agencies and provided layettes for 500 newborns. We could not have done it without the support of our volunteers and donors.
